Nickmom.com is a destination for the modern mom. The mom who’s always on the go, it’s designed give her a second of hilarity in between dropping off the dry cleaning and picking up the kids from school. It provides bite-sized moments of surprise and delight.
We wanted moms to discover content they enjoyed, and encouraged them to share the fun with their friends. Making the site accessible on multiple devices was a must, because of the modern mom’s hectic schedule and on the go lifestyle she needs access from anywhere.
I was an Art director on this project and assisted the Creative Director and other Art Directors with design and user experence.

FutureM is an annual event held in Boston for the Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange (MITX). This event, which spans several days, explores what’s next in marketing and technology.
Our goal was to make a user friendly site that not only conveyed what the event was about, but captured the excitement of what it was like to be there. We wanted to make the site social and fun. One way of achieving this was allowing user’s tweets and photos to be featured on the site in a section called “the buzz”.

A curated box of products to help users create, find, and share small moments of joy every day. The box was designed to inspire people to infuse their life with a bit more gratitude, take breaks to savor, and find new ways to connect with people you care about. A portion of each box was a donated to Donorschoose.org so people could feel great about their purchase.
On this project I was responsible for the design of all the assets from the landing page to the printed box materials and packaging. We created two versions of creative so that we could gain knowledge from A/B testing. In addition to the design I also helped curate the items in the box and assisted with overall positioning.

The Howley Volunteer Fire Department in Newfoundland, Canada has to raise all it’s own funding to operate for the community of Howley. One of the ways they’ve found success in fundraising is by hosting an ice fishing tournament. The department came to us looking for a site, we not only gave them a site that would answer basic questions, we gave them a way to fundraise year round, and incorporated online registration so people everywhere could register for the event. We also set out to improve and solidify the events branding by designing a logo for them.

Hunter Fan Company has been manufacturing beautiful, high-performance products since 1886, so the goal was to give them an e-commerce site that would accurately reflect that.
Designing a beautiful site that would make finding the perfect product a breeze was just one objective. We also wanted to address the different ways that users shop, giving them several different avenues, including a guided selling experience that allowed users to find products by expressing their personal style.

An extended stay hotel chain with over 170 properties, whose ultimate goal was to streamline booking and improve the overall user experience. We set out to do this with a complete redesign of their existing site, and later adding a mobile site. They also raised brand awareness and kept customers informed with a series of email campaigns and special promotions.

Edward and Associates specializes helicopter sales, customization, and completion. They've also been providing their customers outstanding service since 1977. They came to us looking for a way to capture the essence of who they are as a company and a brand. What followed was an exhaustive exploration, which resulted in a high-gloss, printed manifestation of the company itself.
Role: Senior DesignerThis was my response to an RFP. The goal here was to create a engaging print campaign that would raise brand awareness, and subsequently increase MBA and Master’s applications for the North American market.
Print pieces were designed with the concepts of expanse and connectedness in mind. Reminiscent of a quilt, different pieces come together, constructing something greater than they were previously.

restige Fans are an upscale division of Hunter Fan Company, giving consumers the ultimate luxury in ceiling fan design. Because of this it was necessary that the website accurately reflect the unique indulgence of the product’s splendor.

Aeronautical Accessories a worldwide leader in helicopter accessories and replacement parts since 1979. They wanted to redesign their product catalogue with over 10,000 SKUs, the main goal being an improved buying experience for the customer.
By improving many facets of the design and usability we made high end parts catalog that’s as beautiful as it is functional -- that can transition from the repair shop to the boardroom with ease.

One area they wanted to highlight was their software sector. They wanted to expand upon their preexisting site with a blog, giving users more information about this exciting facet of their portfolio.

pringpad gives users a smarter way to discover, save, and share information. Allowing people to organize things into private and public notebooks from anywhere using the either the desktop version or the intuitive app.
Springpad needed a series of emails that would educate and notify users, because of the many different devices on which springpad can be accessed, these emails needed to be responsive.
